World Technical Services, Inc. to Merge with
ASRC Airfield and Range Services, Inc.


Combination Will Strengthen Technical and Support Services Capabilities For Customers in the U.S. and Overseas

October 16, 2009 – Greenbelt, MD – ASRC Federal Holding Company is expanding its subsidiary World Technical Services, Inc. (WTSI) by merging it with another subsidiary, ASRC Airfield and Range Services, Inc. (ASARS).

The merger formally takes effect on Jan. 1, 2010. Transition activities are beginning today.

“The merger of ASARS into WTSI will broaden and deepen our offerings to customers in the technical and support services markets both in the U.S. and overseas,” said Bill Sample, president of WTSI. “The new WTSI will be well positioned to respond to the diverse needs of all our customers, and we will do so efficiently and cost-effectively.”

Kevin Slattery, president of ASARS, will become chief operating officer in the expanded WTSI. “ASARS brings extensive experience, particularly in security, life support, construction and training,” said Slattery. “We look forward to working closely with our customers as part of the merged WTSI.”

ASRC Airfield and Range Services, Inc., established in 2002, has focused on overseas program management services, security and training services, and construction services.

World Technical Services, Inc. was created in January 2009 to be the center of excellence for range operations and maintenance, base operations support services, and logistics and maintenance. More information about WTSI is available on line at www.asrcwtsi.com.
